Over the years, I’ve had hundreds of conversations with people about their finances and I’ve come to realise that wealth means very different things to different people.
For some, it’s about freedom: the ability to choose how you spend your time, where you live, and who you spend your days with.
For others, it’s about security: knowing you and your family are protected no matter what life throws your way.
And for many, it’s about legacy: creating something that lasts beyond your lifetime, whether that’s for your children, a business, or a cause you care about deeply.
The interesting part is that very few people define wealth purely by the numbers. Yes, financial goals matter — but they’re only part of the story.
True wealth is about alignment.
It’s about knowing what matters to you and building a life that reflects that with money as a tool, not the goal.
So before chasing the next figure or milestone, it’s worth asking:
What does wealth really mean to me and is how I live today in line with that?
